Legal Rights

This warranty grants you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state, country, or province. Except as permitted by law, DICI does not exclude, limit, or suspend any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. For a full understanding of your legal rights, please consult the laws in your jurisdiction.

If you purchased from a distributor, supplier, or reseller other than DICI directly, please contact them for warranty and refund assistance, as they may provide their own policies.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Motor – Limited Lifetime Warranty

If your ceiling fan motor fails at any time due to a defect in materials or workmanship, as solely determined by DICI, we will provide a replacement fan free of charge.*

*This coverage applies only to the motor. Electronic components (e.g., remote transmitters, receivers, capacitors) are covered under the One-Year Limited Warranty.

Other Components – One-Year Limited Warranty

All other parts of the DICI ceiling fan are covered for one (1) year from the date of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship. DICI will provide replacement parts free of charge.*

Light Kits – Warranty Varies

Standard Light Kits: Covered under the One-Year Limited Warranty.

LED Light Kit Modules / LED Bulbs: Three-Year Limited Warranty.
If the LED module or bulb fails due to defects within 3 years of purchase, DICI will provide a replacement.*

*If a replacement part or product is not available within 45 days, DICI will offer a comparable or superior replacement, at our discretion.

 

Exclusions (Not Covered Under Warranty)

  • Misuse, abuse, or accidental damage
  • Damage from natural disasters (e.g., lightning, hurricanes, etc.)
  • Unauthorized modifications, repairs, or disassembly
  • Operation not in accordance with provided manuals
  • Non-quality-related issues
  • Items purchased from unauthorized resellers
  • Commercial or non-consumer use
  • Lost, stolen, gifted, or refunded items
  • Damage from extreme environments (heat, cold, moisture)
  • Lack of valid proof of purchase

Warranty Claim Procedure

1. Contact us at support@kbsceilingfan.com to start your warranty claim.

2. Provide valid proof of purchase, which may include:

  • Order number from DICI official store
  • Sales invoice or confirmation email
  • Serial number of the product (usually on the bottom)
  • Clear photo/video evidence showing the defect

3. Obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before shipping any item.

  • The RMA number must be clearly written on the shipping label (not the box itself).
  • Returns without an RMA may be rejected.

4. Once the return is received and verified, replacements will be processed within 14 business days.

A replacement item will carry the remaining warranty of the original purchase.

Refund Policy

We offer a 45-day money-back guarantee on all purchases made directly through DICI.

Conditions:

  • Product must be unused and in original packaging.
  • Refund requests for used/unsealed items or those in transit are not accepted.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Refund Process:

1. Contact support@kbsceilingfan.com for the return address and RMA.

2. Once we receive and inspect the returned product, your refund will be processed within 3–7 business days.

Shipping Fees

Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer in the following cases:

  • Returning a non-defective item
  • Items returned from outside the original country of purchase
  • Items claimed defective but found to be functional
  • Unauthorized returns made outside the warranty process
